What is New Life Church?
A dynamic, spirit-filled, and diverse church - serving people, developing leaders, creating legacy, and impacting generations.
NLC is a non-denominational Christian church. Whether you have been around church your entire life, or this is your first peek into it, New Life Church has something for you. Our hope is that you can call NLC home and that you find a community within the church. We are a church that is passionate about loving people to an encounter with Jesus.
What are your service times?
Sundays 10:00am.
What are your weekend services like?
Our Sunday services are about 90 minutes long and include worship music and a life-applicable sermon. Everyone is welcome and there is no dress code, come dressed in your favorite outfits!
What about my children?
At NLC, your children are one of our top priorities.
For ages 0 - 3, we have nursery!
For ages 3 - 3rd grade, we offer a dynamic children’s ministry, New Life Kids. Prior to each service, you will have the opportunity to check your kids into our safe, fun kids’ environment. During service, they will have worship, a lesson, games and more!
For your children in 4th - 6th grade we have Jr. Youth! This starts at 6 PM Sunday nights at New Life Church.
For your children in 7th - 12th, we have youth starting at 6 PM Sunday nights at New Life Church!

Pastor David has served in ministry for the last 25 years as a Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Church Planter, and Senior Pastor.

Lu Ann Knapp
Lu Ann was born and raised on a dairy farm, so she knows a thing or two about hard work and bringing the cows back home. After getting her Associate's Degree in Legal Secretarial Science, she spent years working in treasury roles for local organizations. She also had long-term jobs in the accounting departments of a local school district and an attorney's office.
Being a part of the New Life family from a young age, Lu Ann's commitment to the church shines through as she fearlessly tackles the challenges of managing church finances.

Associate Pastor
Pastor Denise Ayer
Pastor Denise is passionate about serving New Life alongside her husband. Originally from Wisconsin, Pastors David & Denise have been happily married for 25 years. They have two daughters and a son-in-law who bring them joy.
Pastor Denise's love for global ministries has been a lifelong passion. She even had the opportunity to be a short-term missionary in El Salvador. With a degree in Theology and a BA in Education, Pastor Denise is currently pursuing her MA in Theology with a focus on Women's Studies at Northern Seminary.
Having grown up in a church environment, Denise always had a deep desire to serve the Lord. Her faith, family, and supporting people on their journey to freedom are the driving forces in her life.

Office Associate
Moriyah Ayer
Moriyah is a true Buckeye, born and raised in Ohio. About 7.5 years ago, she packed her bags and moved with her family to Canton, PA. After graduating from Canton Jr/Sr High School in 2020, Moriyah then pursued her passion for Biblical Studies at Elim Bible College.
When she's not studying or working, Moriyah loves working with children and cherishes moments with her family. And if you ever find yourself in need of some football team stats, Moriyah is your go-to gal.
