At New Life, we love kids, which is why children’s ministry is a priority.
Partnering with parents and leading children into a growing relationship with God is our ongoing vision, which is why we welcome your kids with open arms to an exciting time filled with incredible messages from the Bible week after week. Our talented volunteers use an endless number of creative and innovative teaching methods that are relevant to the ever-changing culture of a child. At our Sunday service, we offer children's ministry for infants through 4th grade after "Kid's Moment" during the service. We encourage the family to worship together before we separate for the teachings. Our gifted team of teachers prepare a fun, interactive program for the kids with stories, crafts, games, and snacks all in a safe environment.
The need for relationship is part of our genetic makeup. We need to belong, desire to make a difference, to be productive for the Lord, and be fruitful. Whether you are looking for a place to meet new friends, connect to a mentor, grow spiritually or serve your community, there's a group for you!
Every Life Class is designed to help you hear from God. As you hear from God, He’ll help you grow in your spiritual life and become “unstuck” in your spiritual progress. Setting aside time to attend a Life Class will offer you more than inspiring worship or well-grounded, biblically based teaching—you’re going to encounter the voice of God and experience lasting life-change.
Each Wednesday at 9:30 am, a dedicated group of women come together for a time of focused prayer to concentrate on specific needs in the community and within the church. Their prayer goes beyond the "normal" kind of prayer for others as they stand in the gap for the individual and fervently pray to God. For more information about getting involved in this dedicated team, please contact the church office at: 570-673-810 EMAIL PRAYER: If you have a prayer request you want others to agree with you, contact Bette Crayton, Director of Prayer Ministries, at: firstname.lastname@example.org. To begin receiving email prayer updates from Bette, contact the church office at 570.673.5810 or email at: email@example.com.
On the second Sunday of the month, we have "Prayer School". Here we learn the importance of prayer and are given the tools to a productive prayer life. We will then take time during this teaching to "practice" what we have learned.
